I reinstalled the themes rpm and the description thing is in there.
It refers to Vera.ttf which is in ~/.fonts.

So ~/.fonts won't work?

Copying Vera.ttf and VeraBd.ttf over to /usr/sharemythtv doesn't fix the
issue.
