I have the same problem using an ATI HD4200. I thought it was that the 
TV Channel didn't have enough signal, as this only happens while 
watching recordings.

I think is due to that it change mpeg files in the same recording and it 
is matter of buffering but don't know the solution.

BTW I have a Nova T-500 and if I set the PVR-530 (ivtv) as the default 
option for output profile the quality of the image is great but after 20 
min, the recording playback is restarted.

Now I'm using xvmc-blit as the renderer and I have the same problem as Rama.

Any help is more than welcome as losing 3 min of my recordings is a 
pitty (actually always following the murphy law ;))
