[mythtv-users] Question about sound

Hi all!  I just set up Mythbuntu, and I have what I believe amounts to a 
pretty stupid question, but it's still one I can't find the answer to.

While recording shows (analog, I believe), my mythtv frontend plays the 
sound of the show it is recording.  Is there a way to set it so that it 
doesn't play while recording?

And, while I'm at it, how do I know if I'm recording in analog or 
digital?  I don't have a cable box, and the coax just plugs into my 
capture card, so I'm assuming it is analog, but I don't really know, and 
I need to, since I'm thinking of purchasing a new capture card to 
replace my crappy ATI TV-Wonder.
