Don't start lcdproc, it's not necessary for MythTV. LCDd is rotating 
connected clients' screens, that's why you see both. However, if you see 
the default LCDd screen and not lcdproc info screen (as you might be 
thinking), just set "ServerScreen=no" in your LCDd.conf

I had the same problem about a year ago.
