[mythtv-users] Modification/customisation of Internal Player Menus

Hi there,
is any one out there aware of whether or not it is possible to
customise the menu within MythTV's internal player?  I'm talking about
the menu that comes up when you push 'm' during playback.
I am hoping to insert a menu selection that will execute a custom
script while watching TV or a movie without the need to exit out to
the main menu.
