Have you accounted for 4K sector sizes in your partitioning? I've not
used an SSD yet but I do have a couple of HDs that are 4K physical
sectors/512 byte logical sectors and there is a HUGE speed difference
when I don't account for this. I've read that it's worse on SSDs.
