[mythtv-users] Missed Private Practice recording last night but don't know why

No idea what happened here, and I was with my wife when all this was
happening. Putting this out here to see if anyone has any ideas...

Last night's recording of "Private Practice" was somehow missed. I'm
running 0.22-fixes and have two capture devices (well, have more but
they are digital, and this all happened with the two analog capture
cards I have, cards with IDs #4 and #5).

Here is part of what I see in the backend log (I have the full log, if
anyone wants to take a look):

There were three things involved, as far as I can see:

1. Grey's Anatomy on channel 1013 at 21:00. Recording on card #4. The
settings for this recording are: at any time on this channel and start
on time and end two minutes after scheduled ending time. Last night's
show was from 9 to 10 PM.

2. Wife started to watch "The Marriage Ref" via live TV on channel 1007
at 22:00:44. Recording on card #5.

3. At 22:01:02, recording of Private Practice on channel 1013 "starts"
(with quotes because I actually don't think that really was happening).
Recording on card #5. Setting for this recording are same as for Grey's
Anatomy. The "end 2 minutes after scheduled time" forces a different
card to be used to record this given that Grey's Anatomy was being
recorded prior to this.

On the frontend, I see:

The question is, if card #5 was being used to watch live TV (from
22:00:44 until 22:09:28), then why the log says "Started recording:
Private Practice ... channel 1013 on cardid 5"? I don't recall any
message saying "recording about to start, want to continue watching live
TV" or something like that.

There is no trace of a Private Practice anywhere. I'm puzzled and first
time that something like this happens in years of MythTV use. My theory
is a race between live TV and real recording but am not sure. Whatever
it was, wife wasn't definitely happy.

Any ideas?
