A bug is code that doesn't work as designed. A feature request is a
desire for code that adds new functionality.
On the bright side, though, whether it's an open ticket in Trac or not
won't necessarily make the new code get written any faster--just see any
of the 593 open tickets for proof that things in Trac don't magically
get handled quickly. :)
