Hi Nick, The OP mentioned that there is no issue playing back
recordings over his network and only sees the issue with live TV. I
would think that this would preclude the wireless network from the
problem but I supposed it would be good to test anyway.

It was suggested to the OP to pause for a few seconds and then see if
he still has an issue but this did not solve his problem either.

How about playing a recording that is underway? Could it be drive IO
related? When playing back, you are only reading, but with liveTV you
are writing and reading?

Or perhaps playing a recording while another program is recording?
