We use ffmpeg to demux, then a crystalhd class to handle the device 
itself. A class based off our ffmpeg decoder class (ffmpeg decoder 
wrapper) deals with interfacing the device with our video player 
class. There are still some quirks under OSX but Linux side seems to 
be working well. 1080p on the AppleTV with 30-40 percent CPU usage.
