[mythtv-users] nvidia via DVI to LCD TV - no EDID if tv off causing problems

Hi John
I had a similar problem so I used the nvidia-settings program to save
the EDID to a file (it's on the DFP line in the tree showing your monitor)
and then configure your xorg.conf file using the following line in the
screen section.

Option         "CustomEDID" "DFP-0:/etc/X11/LG-50PC1R-edid.bin"

Obviously, change the DFP-0 to the same thing as what nvidia-settings
says the monitor is.
