[mythtv-users] fixing/overriding schedules direct channel mappings

Now that I have gotten a decent scan of all of the clearqam on my cable
system, it seems that schedules direct's data is not very accurate in
terms of channel mapping.

While I will provide them with an update, how can I override the mapping
in the meanwhile?  I thought going into the Channel Editor and changing
XMLTV ID field to the correct ID would have done the trick.  But I have
done that and I have even run mythfilldatabase afterward but still, it's
using the old/bad SD mapping/schedule data for the incorrect channels.

Is my method correct?  Do I just need to fix up the XMLTV ID?  Is there
anything more I need to do?

Also, it would be most useful if editing/fixing mappings in the Channel
Editor automatically sent updates to SD for SD Video Sources, rather
than one having to do that as a separate task.
