There is still a setting in 0.23 and it still works - I use it quite often.

See "Action on exit" under Media Settings->Music Settings->Player Settings.

However this assumes that you are exiting MythMusic by pressing escape
to go back to the menu structure. If instead you use a jump point to go
directly to another part of Myth then this setting is ignored and
MythMusic just quits.
