I have the DCX-3200 and I'm using the RCA for audio.

I have no stability issues with my HD-PVR even with fairly heavy Live Tv use.

I channel change with Firewire and 6200ch.

Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 using .23-fixes compiled from source.

I have not needed to apply any special patches for the HD-PVR.
