[mythtv-users] hd-pvr problem recording audio after firmware update

Let's take a step back. Everyone's configuration differs slightly from
the others' and I suspect this is contributing to the confusion over
whether someone has the issue the JWA and others report.

Me:
MythTV version: 0.23-fixes with the #6719 and #6611 patches
HD-PVR: E1 model with the 1.5.7.0 firmware
Audio input: S/PDIF (which should be a given for everyone in the thread)
Cable box: DCT-6200
Channel-changing method: FireWire
Do I experience the issue? Never with recordings in two weeks of heavy
usage. Sometimes in live TV.

While I've used the E1 model for more than a month--and a D2 model for
several weeks before it needed repair--and never seen the audio issue
with recordings, I say "two weeks" since that is how long I've used it
with the 1.5.7.0 firmware.
