[mythtv-users] Disabling HD-PVR "Bling" Lights

Is anyone aware of any way to do this? I find them very distracting
and there is already a recording indicator LED on the front of the
box. From Google I see that XBMC seems to have a compile-time option
to disable the blue ring, but is there any way to do so in mythtv or
the hdpvr driver? Or should I resort to desoldering the LEDs?
