[mythtv-users] HD-PVR: Live TV fine but not recordings

I have been happily using MythTV with my hdpvr for some time but after replacing my cable box and adding a firewire input, I'm now having strange behavior with the hdpvr recorder failing on scheduled recordings. I have one hdpvr and one lineup for it. I am using the component and spdif inputs. When I watch live tv, it works just fine. I can change channels, navigate the schedule, everything. This is a sample from the log showing successful TV watching:
