If you have one of the boards that supports wake on usb, it will
suspend/resume very reliably. I have 2 of later ones that support wake
on usb, and they've both been rock solid for nearly 6 months. Stray IR
signals aren't a problem as the mce receivers only wake the system
when you send the power signal.
