I know I have not changed host names. All of the files in /recordings
are owned by "mythtv" and have world read permission. Same with all
of the directories in the path, which have world read+execute
permission. I have two other remote frontends and the local frontend,
none of which are user "mythtv", which do not exhibit this issue. So
it is definitely a problem local to the particular frontend.

Is that what you meant by permissions to the files/directories?
