We're really getting ahead of ourselves, I think.  For programs not
flagged with a broadcast flag, we don't even know if there is going to
be any DRM to break.  It could just be a matter of developing an
interoperable network protocol and capturing an unencrypted stream,
much as we do with firewire today.

If that's the case, then even if SD doesn't provide linux support,
then simply discussing reverse engineering an appropriate interface
package should not be disallowed by the mailing list rules.
