[mythtv-users] Using xvideo for DVD playback

I have an ASRock ION 330 FE that's working fairly well. In BIOS it's configured for 512mb of VRAM. When playing some DVDs (eg: The Hangover) video playback fails. The logs state that VDPAU has run out of memory.

I would like to force XVideo playback for DVDs. So I've modified the "VDPAU Normal" profile to add a third option.

	H == 720
	W == 480
	Decoder: Standard
	Video Renderer: xv-blit
	OSD Renderer: softblend

If I set this to the 1st position in the list I would expect it to match on DVD playback. However, according to the verbose playback log it doesn't. VDPAU is used and I see a loop of:

2010-01-05 19:20:11.406 VDP: Accepting: cmp(== 720 480) dec(ffmpeg) cpus(0) skiploop(enabled) rend(xv-blit) osd(softblend) osdfade(enabled) deint(greedyhdoubleprocessdeint,kerneldeint) filt()

Any suggestions or is this a bug I should file?
