I was recently told that by lengthening the lease time you can greatly 
increase the chance of (those cheap home routers) giving the same IP to 
each device. I was told to set it to 30 days. I just checked my (cheap) 
Linksys and 9999 minutes is as long as it will go. Which is just shy of 
7 days.
