[mythtv-users] Problems with nuvexport and single episode shows

I seem to be unable to use nuvexport on any show that has a single
episode. I've been using transcode to get xvid format, but a little
checking shows that ffmpeg/xvid have the same problem, and transcode/dvd
as well.  A tail-end excerpt...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Variable bitrate video? [Yes]
Multi-pass (slower, but better quality)? [Yes]
Video bitrate? [768]
Default resolution based on requested dimensions.
Width? [640]
Height? [480]

Now encoding: Eureka: Shower the People
Encode started:  Fri Feb 26 20:54:52 2010
First pass...

Transcode had critical errors:

Line 242 in transcode.pm continues, and down a line 248 we have
".' -e '.join(',', $episode->{'finfo'}{'audio_sample_rate'},
$episode->{'finfo'}{'audio_bits_per_sample'},
$episode->{'finfo'}{'audio_channels'})"

I had tested nuvexport right after upgrading to mythtv-0.22 and verified
that it worked. But I realized that I verified functionality on a show
that had multiple episodes. Sure enough, now if I run nuvexport against
any show that has multiple episodes, it runs. If I run it against any
show with only a single episode, it fails like this.

Has anyone else seen this?

On a related note, I'm running Gentoo, and they appear to get their code
for nuvexport from "http://www.forevermore.net/mythtv/". I've looked on
the MythTV pages, and so far haven't found anyplace to get "mythextras",
which is supposed to contain nuvexport. So I'm currently using a
snapshot from the above address, dated 20090413. Is this the
latest'n'greatest?  Is it being maintained?

Thanks,
Dale Pontius
