Will that really work for physical DVDs in a DVD drive? I'm happy to 
consider any option, but am reluctant to get into doing lots of

Oh, and Mythtv's Import DVD didn't actually work for me - it went away 
for several seconds, didn't seem to access the drive, and then went 
back to the menu.
