[mythtv-users] Possible to blind import channels.conf ?

I took the time to hand-craft a channels.conf containing only the
channels I want to import, verifying each (5 in total) with mplayer.
But when I try to import the channels.conf file with MythTV, it tries
to scan each channel. The result is adding other channels on
multiplexes I don't want, and failing to find one channel altogether.
When I import it gives me numerous errors about conflicting channels
(even though there are none for the source) and I am prompted to enter
channels names.

Is there any way to just import one-for-one lines from the
channels.conf file without checking or tuning or anything?
