This is interesting to know. I tried about 4 months ago trying to get
an HD LCD running using hdmi, but never could get audio.
I use Mythbuntu. So are you saying you have to have a custom compiled
kernel to fully use hdmi ?
I have no idea how to compile kernels on linux
