[mythtv-users] missing recordings from 2 DVB recorders (HVR-950Qs)

Sigh,

I've an acer revo R1600 with two HVR-950Qs (for digital) and a
PVR-USB2 (for analog).  After some tweaks (see earlier post), I've got
all tuners working from live tv; however, I'm findng that recordings
from the HVR-950Q sometimes simply go missing - everything suggests
that the recordings should be there, but they are not.

The sequence I've found to reproduce the problem (might take a few tries) is:

- schedule both the HVR-950Qs to record digital starting at the same time
- once the recordings have started try accessing them via the
front-end; the preview will be missing, and playback will fail with
"not yet ready"

if it doesn't fail the first time, try restarting the backend forcing
the recordings to [re]start at the same time.

If it is useful, here's a basic log with "file" added.  I tried adding
more log options but then the problem went away ...

a quick LS shows that the file containing Oprah's recording -
1091_20100205163700.mpg - is simply missing!
