I upgraded my mythtv on mythbuntu 10.10 to 0.24 using repos in the hope
of being able to play dvd iso files but I find that most fail with a
message: "Ringbuffer is not a DVD."

Looking on the log shows:

...

The last messages are repeated for 36k lines.

Most times the frontend just crashes before any error message is shown.

I have one iso that does play and the log reveals that it is using AC3
for audio.

Can anyone point out what the problem is?

Thanks

John
