its a couple of issues.

Noone has written an opensource br player (at least for myth) but a great
first step is to get it to work with folder structures which is in .24

The decryption support that does exist in myth/linux is based on compromised
decryption keys (which are then revoked by the studios stopping discs
mastered after the compromise from playing with the compromised keys)...
this means that playing br discs on linux isnt trouble free... it is
remaniscent of the pre-decss days with dvd playback.
