Thanks Joseph. I am flattered and touched by the defense. I *do*
want to emphasize that I completely empathize with the frustrations
about certain parts of Myth in terms of usability, the channel scanner
foremost among them. Much of what Brian has suggested is stuff we
have talked to death, and unfortunately it just keeps coming down to
"not enough guys." I can't overestimate how much we appreciate
usability patches, but in the absence of patches, there's just not
much we can do besides keep our heads down and keep pressing forward
and not let user frustrations slow our progress. If anything, I want
to express that we *share* those frustrations, but (if I can
presumptuously speak for us all) we'd really, really like for people
to be more understanding that it's not a lack of ideas-- it's a lack
of hours in the day/guys.

I also want to be clear that it's a shared frustration, and not a
frustration directed at Brian (well, not he more than at anyone else
sometimes-- I'm human too). We're all on the same team, with the same
goal. Please pardon *my* frustrations sometimes and realize that I
want to see these obvious improvements implemented as much, if not
more, than anyone.

I am thankful for users who want to see Myth improved, and just as
thankful for users like Joseph who give me the benefit of the doubt
even when I sometimes lose patience. Just know that we all want to
see the same thing.

Robert
