[mythtv-users] Best way to watch recording remotely

Hi all,

For the third race running I am working away in the Australian Northern
Territory where there is no Formula One coverage.

This time I am willing to pay the money to get 24hrs wireless access so I
can stream the recording from my backend.  I would like to stream as it is
recording though, in a lower bit rate and view it as live as possible on my
Linux laptop in a player that allows me to pause and skip backwards.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how best to achieve this?
