FWIW, I can't reproduce the behavior on my system with Arclight or 
Mythbuntu.  It scrolls down one page and if I hit up, I see the video 
that was the last video on the previous page.

Perhaps a doubly-bound remote key or something?  Sending PgDown then Down?
