Heh.  Yeah.

I have to admit that I have found this behaviour of locking tickets
simply because one of the "non-elites" updated it a bit rude and
anti-social.

It seems pointless having a publicly available ticket system if you
don't want the public using it.  I've never, ever, come across this kind
of behaviour in any other project I've worked with/used.

I completely don't use the ticket system any more.  I guess that means
that their behaviour is having the desired effect though.
