Are you able to get EIT data from your DVB-T card in other software
such as Kaffeine? It is unlikely to be the card, as the EIT data is
contained within the DVB-T transport stream it is receiving when tuned
to a particular frequency.

At the low lever, you can use dvbsnoop to investigate the DVB stream
itself in order to determine if you are receiving EIT data in the
stream.

When using MythTV, running mythbackend with the additional -v
eit, siparser verbose logging options will add EIT/SI processing output
to your log. Your MythTV config needs to have EIT enabled on the DVB-T
video source and have the useonairguide setting enabled for those
channels you want to receive EIT listings for.

Cheers,
Nick
