Yes.

The storage group and hostname recorded to is stored with the recording 
in the database.  The recording must reside on the hostname listed.  
MythTV will first check the storage group for the video, and failing 
that will check any storage group defined on that hostname.  There is no 
mechanism in MythTV to move shuffle recordings around, you have to do it 
manually.
