Well, this is an acceptable point of view.

On my side, I do not mind. I never zoom, so it doesn't bother me.

Nothing stops you from creating your own custom preset with what you
want.

I have one preset giving me higher resolution than the built-in screen,
as I regularly plug the iPhone into hotel room TVs.
