[mythtv-users] VMWare on the backend. Viable solution?

Yes, I'm aware that a usb/network device will definately be accessible by a VM. But, having less then a handful of FTA channels in Singapore, and only 1 frontend, I'm reluctant to get another tuner for the system.
I'm just hoping that the OP or any person who has setup a virtualised mythbackend can share their experiences.
