Nick,
None of the behaviour in Ticket #6637 looks familiar.
I am, however, having other problems with the version of xmltv-grabbers I've currently got installed
(0.5.56-80, IIRC) - the notorious [EF][BF][BD] character sequences in the Community Channel listings
retrieved by tv_grab_uk_rt causing "wide character" fatal errors in Encode.pm. A consequence of
these fatal errors is that mythfilldatabase exits, leaving me with no listings data at all.
Is it possible the two issues are related - an old version of xmltv-grabbers perhaps?
Is it possible that recent Radio Times listings "outages" could be related to this problem?
Cheers,
Mike
