Or, maybe not. Remote control just dies even when having used it recently.
Wakeup seems to work fine and key presses work. Then all of a sudden it is
unreponsive, this happens after about 10 minutes or so.

Thanks for this.
After I updated the timeout to 30seconds and all now seems to work and
logging looks very similar; strange it doesnt work correctly when set
to 1 (after leaving the remote alone for much more than a minute - but
under 10 minutes)
