Boot it from the install CD. Since XP they have a repair console from
the install CD where you can run 'fixmbr' or 'fixboot' for this
purpose. With the news install CD for Vista and Windows 7 you can just
click a button to fix startup problem and it will fix it for you
automatically. This is great for a single boot system, but I wouldn't
let any of these tools loose on a multiboot system.
