What you are suggesting doesn't even make sense. VDPAU is a completely
different specialized type of hardware acceleration that is
specifically designed to decode H264 and MPEG2 video and deinterlace
it. Goom isn't a video and so it doesn't even make since to do either
of these with it. Also it already has its own way of using the video
hardware for acceleration via OpenGL. I don't know much about Goom but
it does seem odd that it would be limited by the PCI bus if you have
it setup properly to use OpenGL. It doesn't seem like that much data
would be going over the bus since it is basically generated on the GPU
itself. If Goom is rendering stuff on the CPU and then sending it to
the GPU then the PCI bus might be an issue.
