Nothing at all. No boot messages, the monitor just says NO SIGNAL.

The system is set up so that the PC signal goes to a splitter/amp and
then to two analog monitors.

I've tested the wiring with a small camera plugged into the splitter and
the wiring from the splitter to the monitor is fine. It's the wiring
from the S-Video port to the Composite splitter, or the S-Video port
that's bad.

The mobo is an Intel BOXD945GCLF2 Atom 330; pretty well documented board
and the S-Video should work with no problems. The latest xvideo-intel
driver supports S-Video on that board.

I just went out and tested.... If I hold one of the cables just right, I
get a lousy image. So the mobo is putting out the right signal; I have
two broken cables. Sigh....

Any recommendations for a converter?

Seems to be highly thought of... Anyone have experience with it?
