You're going to need to provide more info.  Types of tuners, what
you're recording, HD or SD, the backend logs during a failed recording
(not during playback or after the fact).  Generally speaking, failed
recordings are either permissions (not likely in this case),
connectivity to storage (possible in your case), or tuner issues
(signal, configuration, etc).  One of the first things I'd do is
eliminate your wireless as a possible source of problem by going wired
temporarily.  That would help eliminate connectivity as a cause.
