I do similar with Toast on a Mac, remuxes cleanly so no loss of
quality, seems to fix various dolby d glitches too. Just drag the
transport stream file in and off it goes, I've done some burns to DVD
media too (BD9 as it's called) works ok with bit rates up to 12Mb/s on
a PS3, probably not much use for ATSC 19.34Mb/s stuff, I think you
would need bluray media for that, a couple of BD-RE can be useful.
