[mythtv-users] Can't find libraries

I've just built and installed mythtv trunk (rev 21978) on
Fedora 11 (cd .../trunk/mythtv; ./configure; make; su -c "make
install"). When I try to run mythtv-setup, it complains:

"mythtv-setup: error while loading shared libraries:
libmythtv-0.22.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such
file or directory"

Inspecting /usr/local/lib I see that libmythtv-0.22.so.0 is
right there, pointing to libmythtv-0.22.so.0.22.0, which is
also right there. Obviously mythtv-setup can't find it; how
do I tell it where to find it?

A little Googling has found me a couple of pages where similar
questions were asked, but none where they were answered.
