Probably not, with Mythbuntu, with the exception of kernel updates.

But, is it working? If so, what is it you hope to accomplish by updating? 

It it's working, leave it alone, has always been good advice.

Usually I update for known security problems, or to get some functionality 
that I want and do not have, otherwise why mess with it?
