[mythtv-users] Would this work with Linux? (Cheap 5.1 audio)

Hi Marc,
I would imagine that it might be easier to get your motherboard audio
working than to find support for the USB device. What is the audio chipset
on your motherboard and kernel/alsa version? When I bought my motherboard,
I found that the audio chip wasn't supported directly in alsa. However, I
went to the ALSA-devel mailing list and asked about what needed to happen to
support it. I think I may have tested a patch to confirm that the code
worked, but they put support for the chipset in the next release of ALSA.
