Mythfrontend only has the beginnings of a UPnP media renderer. It
currently does nothing more than advertise itself (and implements one
non-standard service). I do intend to implement media renderer support
at some point in the next few months but it requires some fairly low
level changes to the frontend if it is to be done well.

MythTV UPnP support is currently focused around the UPnP media server
that is part of mythbackend i.e. people are using it to serve up their
mythtv content to other media players such as PS3s. There is no
special configuration required to get this up and running - for the
most part it just works.
