Thanks for your further information. 

I found one outdated page in mythtv wiki on de-interlacing; I would like to edit that page to include my experience on this placback settings there.

No, it means the CPU+ profile is not the best one for your particular 
combination of computer hardware, program material and display device.

I wouldn't say it has a "problem", any more than my car has a "problem" 
because it can't hold 70,000 pounds of cargo or go 200 MPH for 500 miles. 
Different needs require different solutions.

CPU+ works fine for some situations, and not others, that's why there are 
multiple profiles, as well as the ability to modify and create.
