[mythtv-users] hdpvr kernel module

rare free sunday here, and was trying to get this dust collecting hdpvr
to work again.  running mythbuntu daily builds (trunk 21818) and on
ubuntu 9.04.  following instructions here
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Hauppauge_HD-PVR for cloning v4l tree to get
the hdpvr module.  successfully cloned, make, and make install, but when
i modprobe i get this

steve at mythtv:~$ sudo modprobe hdpvr
[sudo] password for steve:
WARNING: All config files need .conf: /etc/modprobe.d/oss-compat, it
will be ignored in a future release.
FATAL: Module hdpvr not found.

reboot per instructions, and tried this

steve at mythtv:~$ locate cx88-dvb.ko |grep `uname -r`
/lib/modules/2.6.28-15-generic/kernel/drivers/media/video/cx88/cx88-dvb.ko

only one there, like suppose to be.  can anyone help?

after i get the hdpvr to work, im also going to need help with the
"channel change script" thing, where are they ? if im going to use the
pvr-150 ir blaster i have already.
